I was reading Boyd Jones blog today and discovered another interesting cultural difference between how Westerners approach potential investors and how Chinese approach their investors.
Both will usually start with exchanging emails for initial approach. However, in China, .pdf files are not used. They usually sent out huge .ppt and .doc files that would certainly clogged up investors inboxes and have little considerations for potential viruses. When asked for .pdf format, they willl certainly go blank and asked whats a .pdf file.
