Live Lobster Catcher Arcade Game

Remember those coin-operated “claw” games, where you could snag some fuzzy dice if you moved the robot hand with enough skill? I m sure many of you had tried and most would had known by now that this game of chance is never in our favor. You can try for hours and still not pick up anything. Its my son's favorite arcade game too. Thats the main reason why he will drag me to the arcade center every weekend just to try his luck. Not that he is interested winning the stuffed toys but the idea of winning feels great for kids his age.

Well the Japanese arcades now have a weirder and more sophisticated version. Having improvised from useless stuffed animal prizes, they are now offering a delicious live lobster!

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our world, and I think it is safe to say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory drops, the possibility of copying our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I dream about almost every day.
