Tribute to Moms all over the World

Who said that becoming a mother is an easy job? Not only its not easy, its the hardest and toughest job ever and there is almost no time frame how long you need to held on this position. Usually its a lifetime commitment.

Start appreciating them for their commitment to us doesnt come cheap. According to a new report from Salary.com, the wages that would have been paid to a stay-at-home mom in 2007 is $138,095 a year if she were compensated for all the elements of her "job." That total is up 3% from 2006's salary of $134,121.

Moms who have jobs outside the house would earn another $85,939 for their mothering work, beyond what they bring home in existing salary.

The job descriptions that Salary.com used to determine a mom's salary includes 10 jobs that moms do on an average day: housekeeper, day care center teacher, cook, computer operator, laundry machine operator, janitor, facilities manager, van driver, CEO and psychologist.

Its long hour and practically a mom has to work over time regardless of whether she is agreeable to it or not.

Thats alot to sacrifice and yet all mom are doing it willingly with no complaints. All mothers deserve more that what we can offer them. Start showing them our tender loving care. Mother's day is coming soon and start planning ahead.

My mom had dedicated her life to taking care of me, my 2 brothers and my dad. She had showered us with her unconditional love and gave up her career to nurture and develop us into what we are today. I m grateful to my mom and most times I feel that i havent done enough to reciprocate what she had given me. I hope that all of you are playing a better role than me.

I miss my mom and dad and the rest of my families who are in Malaysia. I love you all and happy mother's day to you Mummy, debbie (mom to brandon), keizo (mom to luvelle), and chee ying (mom to my 3 lovely nephews).

Debbie, keizo and Chee Ying are all super moms who are working and double up as mom after work. Its a job that most of us will find it hard to do. Not only that i cant do, I fail to even deliver my role as a good supporter to them. What they are doing are jobs that most employers in the world would find it hard to afford them. They are the most valuable and greatest people in the whole world. Lets all give them a good celebration this coming Mother's Day and honor them.

My 2nd brother, Baldwin and my 3 lovely nephews (Bryan de Cool, Basil de Handsome and Barry the Cute) and of course my handsome son, Brandon, the KING who is in red with ice cream in his mouth
My 2nd brother's family and his beloved wife, Yap Chee Ying, the super mom who is a super talented lawyer and still manage 3 lovely nephews of mine.

Son,
I am glad you finally realised the important of mother, when you are parents to your own children now. You were the one who got the most beating from her, when you were a boy then. In fact she loves you more and the punishment and guidance were meant to be useful to your growing. Without her, you might not be able to write this well of today.
Not all women are prepared to sacrify their careers for being a full time mother. Gone were the days when women married to be mother. Today married women are considered as half mother only because they leave their children to the care of maids or grand parents.
Some even prefer not to get marry but remain single. Perhaps they don't want to be mother.
For those who are full time mothers, I think they are the greatest. Because without them, the world would not progress and life would be meaningless.
