The Endurance was an extreme Japanese television gameshow from the 1980s where contestants (students) have to endure humiliating, painful and often bizarre rituals. This made the Guinness Book of World Records for "Most Extreme Game Show." Having seen the clip myself and the kind of pain that participants had to endure, it has to be the most extreme of all that i had seen. I m not sure what was the ultimate price but i m sure pride and self dignity must had been one of the driving force for the participants afterall they are japanese.
I have to give it to the Japanese afterall they have to be the most creative people in game shows and certainly had never failed to provide us with all the laughters and humors.
Here is another cool game show from Japan! This time, contestants must yank the table cloth off a table without spilling the drinks and food. Looks like a fun competition which I would love to try my hands on! It sure looks easy....
