The Bugatti Veyron which was once the World Super Fastest Car will now have to find a new unofficial claim to fame as the 2nd fastest car in the world. As for being the fastest car in the world the Guinness Book of World Records has official awarded that title to the SSC Ultimate Aero TT after yielding a record speed of 256.19 mph. The Ultimate Aero TT achieved its record run with a twin-turbo V8 with 1183-hp and 1094 ft-lbs of torque.
