The intersecting wires that charge your phone, iPod and GPS might soon be a thing of the past thanks to the eCoupled wireless charging system that was demoed at CES 2009.
This sleek system charges anything that's placed on it that requires electricity, and does so in the most inobtrusive manner possible. The eCoupled system also allows for wireless data transfers, which means you can play music or access your phone without plugging it into the car.
The eCoupled system is the innovative result of a collaboration between Fulton Innovation and Leggett & Platt.
